The Renault group is a French automobile manufacturer. It has factories and subsidiaries all over the world. Founded by the brothers Louis, Marcel and Fernand Renault in 1898, the company played an essential role during the First World War (armament activities, production of aircraft engines, the Renault FT tank). It then quickly distinguished itself by its innovations.
